Decades of Local Experience

We are a team of passionate guides, born and raised fishing the waters of Northern California. Each of our guides has spent decades fishing these waters and knows them like the back of their hand. Come experience the difference with those who know the ins and outs of our incredible fisheries.

Our Boats

Tailored for Every Fishing Adventure

We have a fleet of boats to ensure our clients are set up for success across the wide variety of fisheries we target. Depending on the fishery and time of year, we use a mix of drift boats, rafts, and power boats. Many of our rivers require specialized equipment or technical rowing, and we ensure you have a safe and effective day on the water.

Target Species

We target a variety of iconic species across Northern California.

Rainbow Trout

Rainbow trout are the most common species we target. The majority of our fish are wild, although some rivers engage in stocking programs to help supplement populations. Some of our rainbow trout grow to impressive sizes and are then classified in the same category as steelhead.

Steelhead

Steelhead are the most common fish we target throughout the year. Many of our rivers experience epic steelhead runs, especially from fall through spring. If you're looking for the trophy steelhead of a lifetime, inquire about our winter trips to coastal rivers!

Bass

While we mainly target bass in the spring at famous spots like Shasta Lake, we offer trips year-round. We do a lot of bass fishing on local reservoirs, and the fishing can be incredible! On any given day of bass fishing, you can expect to catch smallmouth, largemouth, or spotted bass with almost every cast.

Chinook Salmon

Many rivers in Northern California have fall runs of mature Chinook salmon, but these seasons are determined by local regulations. When open, these large fish put up an incredible fight and are a blast to catch! They spend most of their lives in the ocean before returning to rivers to spawn and complete their lifecycle.

Brown Trout

Brown trout are uncommon in most of our fisheries, but we can target rivers with strong populations upon request. Our brown trout are wild and can grow quite large in many of the locations we fish. Once they reach a substantial size, they often feed heavily on juvenile rainbow trout and put up a memorable fight.

Striped Bass

Striped bass are a unique and exciting species we target, especially in the rivers and estuaries of Northern California. They migrate in and out of the Delta and lower river systems throughout the year, while Spring and fall are typically the most productive seasons.
